A laser cutting machine is suitable for cutting and marking various materials. Due to the very small cut of the laser beam (<0.3 mm), you have virtually no cutting loss when using a laser cutting machine. For which material is a laser cutting machine suitable?


Our CO2 lasers are extremely suitable for laser marking and / or cutting various types of steel and stainless steel. In addition, wood and plastic can also be cut in manual mode. When cutting metal, the laser head height is automatically controlled by a capacetive sensor that is in the laser head.

The fiber lasers are very suitable for cutting stainless steel and steel, but not for wood or plastic.

CO2 laser cutting machine vs. Fiber laser


The choice for a Fiber laser or CO2 is highly dependent on your wishes, the use of the laser cutting machine and the production requirement.

CO2 laser cutting machine

A CO2 is very suitable as a “budget” laser cutting machine for schools, small production companies and prototyping companies.

Due to the lower power, oxygen is used primarily as a cutting gas. This gives a slightly less attractive finish for stainless steel.

A CO2 laser source lasts around 1.5 – 2 years and must then be replaced.

Fiber laser cutting machine

The fiber laser is more suitable for the demanding customer who wants to produce more and wants beautifully finished cutting work.

The higher power fiber lasers can cut with nitrogen, which gives a better cut finish.

A fiber laser source will last approximately 6-8 years.

What size machine do you need ?

We supply various types of CO2 laser cutting machines with a closed housing. The laser machines are named after the effective range of the laser head. This means the maximum size that you can cut.

Our laser cutting machines are supplied complete with:

  • Basic training to familiarize you with your machine

  • Laser tube (150 to 700 Watt) or;

  • Fiber laser source (350 Watt -1kW)

  • Laser controller for movement control

  • Laser software (Windows 7, 8 and 10 compatible)

  • Servomotors for accurate and fast positioning

  • Special laser head with automatic height control

  • Very stable mechanical construction

  • Air compressor with 24 liter reservoir for cooling the laser head.

  • Electric valve for air or oxygen

  • Fan for extracting smoke and gases (advice: laser extraction system)

  • Cutting table with removable strips

Air extraction needed


Laser cutting machines bring many small (micro) particles of cut material into the air. You have to extract these very harmful particles very well.

We sell laser extraction and filter systems from TBH. TBH is a German company and market leader in high-quality extraction and filter technology for industrial and medical applications.

The filters (including HEPA and active carbon) ensure that even the smallest parts are filtered (up to 0.3 µm) and therefore do not harm your health.
